Effective October 19, 2026
This policy explains how SlideDeck Co (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit slidedeck.co, subscribe to updates, contact us, or purchase and download a deck.
Information we collect
- Subscriptions: your email address, any name you provide, subscription preferences, confirmation status, and signup source. Our email tools can record delivery, opens, clicks, bounces, and unsubscribe requests.
- Contact messages: your name, email address, message, and any other information you choose to send. Contacting us does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
- Purchases and downloads: the product purchased, order and payment identifiers, payment status, purchase email, and records used to provide or restore download access. Stripe collects payment and billing details at checkout. We do not store your full card number or card security code.
- Site use and security: pages visited, referral sources, browser and device information, approximate location, timestamps, and technical logs. Our hosting, network, and security services process IP addresses to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
Please do not send sensitive personal information, payment-card details, or confidential client material through the contact form.
How we use information
We use information to deliver the site and products, confirm subscriptions, send the updates you request, answer questions, process and support orders and refunds, maintain download access, measure site and newsletter performance, prevent fraud and spam, and meet legal obligations. A deck purchase does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails.
Services that help us operate
We share information as needed with providers that host and secure the site, deliver email, process transactions, and support downloads. These include Ghost software hosted on PikaPods, Cloudflare, Mailgun, Stripe, and our email and download-service infrastructure. Contact messages are delivered to our support inbox. Providers may process information in the United States and other countries.
When checkout uses Stripe Managed Payments, the Stripe entity identified at checkout acts as merchant of record and handles transaction-related responsibilities such as payment processing, applicable transaction taxes, fraud prevention, and payment support. Stripe also handles information under its own Privacy Policy.
We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights or safety, resolve disputes, or transfer the business, subject to applicable protections.
Cookies, analytics, and tracking
The site uses Ghost analytics and Cloudflare performance analytics to understand visits and improve the site. Ghost may associate reading activity with a signed-in member. Email tracking can indicate whether a message was opened or a link was clicked; these measurements are not always accurate.
Cookies or similar storage may be used for sign-in, subscription preferences, security, checkout, and authorized download access. You can restrict cookies through your browser, although some functions may stop working. Blocking remote images in your email app can reduce open tracking.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not run advertising pixels to track visitors across unrelated sites. Payment and security providers may process information across their services for purposes such as fraud prevention, as described in their own policies.
The site does not change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals. Because we do not sell or share information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no such activity to opt out of through Global Privacy Control. We will honor applicable privacy-choice requirements if our practices change.
Your choices and requests
Unsubscribe from updates using the link in an email or your member email preferences. We may still send necessary purchase, security, or support messages. To request access, correction, or deletion of information, or ask about other rights available under the laws that apply to you, use our contact form and mention “Privacy.” We may need to verify your request. We will respond as required by applicable law.
Some information must be retained to complete transactions, maintain legally required records, prevent abuse, or resolve disputes. Unsubscribing does not automatically delete purchase records.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here: subscription records while administering your preferences, support records while handling questions and follow-up, and transaction records for delivery, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Retention depends on the record and applicable requirements. We do not promise immediate deletion from backups or third-party systems.
We use access controls and other safeguards appropriate to the services we operate. No online service or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
SlideDeck Co is intended for adults and professional use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
Other sites and changes
Links to other companies, source decks, Google Slides, and other services lead to sites with their own privacy practices. This policy covers SlideDeck Co’s practices, not those external sites.
We will post policy changes here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will provide additional notice where required. Questions can be sent to SlideDeck Co through our contact form.
